Over a billion people now connected, sharing thoughts on every topic, yet, what's changed? Are we smarter? Are we better, as individuals, as a whole? How can so many people say so much and it mean so little. Shouldn't the total equal more than the sum of the parts?
We are at the dawn of a new age of collective intelligence, where everything will be socially informed. Where we live, where we work, what we buy, what we do and who we do it with, will all be informed by everyone we know. Social will be everywhere and touch everything. it will be distributed. It will be embedded in the sites and apps we already use. "What people know" will become a new real-time data type that will drive economies and create global industries.
Introducing Swipp. Swipp is a "Social Intelligence Platform" on which we've built consumer and commercial applications. "Social" because we tap real time social knowledge and "Intelligent" because we convert it into meaningful information that everyone can use today to better inform their life and add new meaning to the world they live in. Our vision is to empower the global community to create the largest repository of "living, social knowledge" in existence, with the goal of creating a smarter planet, for each of us and for all of us.
